^They liked the Indian-sponsored TTP so much that they allowed them to reach the outskirts of Islamabad before they decided to take some action ;)
Imagine if that was the Indian Army instead. Just shows how bogus the claims are of Indians supporting the TTP. If there was any truth to those...
You're absolutely right. The Palestinians are an oppressed people, but are the Pakistanis anything like the Palestinians? No sir.
Pakistan has nukes for heaven's sake! They can choose a better path any time they want to, but they are bound by the ideological chains that they created for themselves.
Haha. Funny how it's Pakistan which keeps creating problems and then expects India to "solve" them :D.
Not to mention the gratuitous self-pity and identification with the oh-so-oppressed Palestinians. Lay it on thick boys! The world is out to get us. After all, we are God's chosen country.
Even then India did not intend to start a full-blown conflict, but it went out of hand so they quickly reversed the policy.
Unlike some countries when never learn (;)), India learnt its lesson quickly.
Haha. Funny thread. It took decades for Sri Lanka to defeat the LTTE which had no support from anywhere and still was among the most ruthless organizations on the planet. Don't mess with the Tamils. They even managed to create a rudimentary Air Force from nothing. The overhyped Afghans are...
Whoa, what is this? Conspiracy theory Saturday?
"ten times the fight"? Fight against whom? Internal fight or external fight? Is this the new version of the old "Ten Pakistanis = 1 Hindoo" myth? :D
"US Sponsor"? US is sponsoring whom? India or Pakistan? Last I heard it was Pakistan!
Well of course it's a different country. No problemo. But it's still funny to see how some Pakistanis try to convince themselves that their history was always "different" from India and how the imaginary line in the sand has always existed ;)
^Tell that when you're economically, militarily and politically dependent on China, and one day you wake up and realize that you cannot have an independent foreign policy anymore ;)
Small and Isolated? Did you even bother to find anything out? :D
Hinduism was a major religion in Pakistan during pre-Islamic times, and that's something you'll have to deal with. You can try to pretend that it was "minimal" or "marginal" or whatever, but that just shows your desperation to...
Exactly. So it would be better if Chinese would stop pretending that their country is some sort of model of equality and fairness and erm..."live in the real world"...as you say.
How do you know it is not "worth mentioning"? Is it an assumption that you make simply because you have a pre-conceived notion that Chinese society is somehow a model of fairness and equality? China has among the worst forms of inequality on earth infact - in terms of concentration of political...
"Race" is a completely arbitrary term with no scientific basis. People identify themselves as part of one race or another simply due to their preconceived biases. Nothing else.
Ultimately, there are many ethnic, cultural and regional groups in China and there is a lot of discrimination and...
The fact that China has many different types of ethnicities, biases and local cultures is obscured by the "Han Chinese" construction. There is a lot of regional, racial bias in China but it is not apparent for foreigners because they are simply unaware of the details.
In this entire thread nobody except the Indians are talking about the plight of the Sri Lankan Tamils.
Just shows that even the Sri Lankans don't care about their own countrymen but are simply interested in blaming India for everything.
The demise of LTTE was due to the cooperation of all...
Chinese or no Chinese, if India wanted to they could have easily supported it. Fact is that they wanted the LTTE to be finished and that's why it was finished.
Ultimately, it's because of India's cooperation that Sri Lanka was finally able to defeat the LTTE. If India really wanted to support the insurgency, you'd be still dealing with suicide bombings today.
Indian Center had to keep the sentiments of Indian Tamils in consideration also, because the...
Why not make it the National Song? Give it some sort of official status if not the National Anthem?
Sri Lanka is a beautiful country, but I'm not a fan of this extremist Sinhalese nationalism which led to the alienation of Tamils who were largely a peaceful people and were forced to let go of...
You sure 'bout that?
How about this little website (thanks to University of Pennsylvania) dedicated to the Salt Range temples in Pakistan? :D

Yes my friend. Very orthodox Hindu temples - Shiva, Vishnu et al. :)
Lots of other...
