1) Father is a witness, he was on this end of the telephone
2) The onus is on him to prove that this is not the same Ayesha.
3) Your point 3 is true if it was looked at in isolation. But based on 1 and 2, this becomes the hardest hitting evidence.
I actually have a chat log of 2003-2004 [not sure of 2002]. I have preserved most of my emails. I definitely don't delete anything that's of any sentimental value to me. I find it hard to believe that Ayesha has no chat logs with Shoaib that are of ANY sentimental value to her.
I am fairly...
On that note, since I am fighting this legal battle for Ayesha, will you guys send us Tendulkar [or even that Dhoni-spoof dude]? Live up to your end of the bargain!
Her name on both Nikah naama and Passport is Maha. Ayesha is apparently something someone in her family wanted to call her. Anyway, it's easy to confirm if both were her names easily.
On that note Asim, what surprises me is this. Why can't either party produce chat logs? I am sure that they...
He is working in the US but his wife is in India. He is working on getting her a visa since the past six months and hopefully he will succeed soon. Right now, he has no documented "evidence" that she is his wife because most marriages aren't registered at your place, apparently.

Yes, an exception could be possible made because Shoaib is a celeb. But if he was an ordinary guy, there is a very strong case against him as per Indian law.
On a serious note Saurabh, you guys got to reform that law. It's so effed up. :hitwall:
Zaki bhai, check out what Indians are saying about Shoaib's case as well. That domestic violence law is very famous and very well discussed from what I am seeing.
Check out this article about the law from a neutral [non-Indian] author :: India’s Domestic Violence Act – Slaw
Bollywood directors are MORONS in most cases.
My room-mate on the other hand is a chartered accountant with practical experiences and citations. He is currently facing trouble in the US coz his marriage wasn't registered in India.
You know what? A lot of Indians don't even hold that much evidence and they are genuinely married. Mailk's video AFTER taking the unregistered nikahnaama into consideration is enough evidence in Indian jurisdiction.
Not in India. Not in India. Not in India. =D
In India, you are guilty until proven otherwise, if it's a domestic violence/abuse suit or a wife suing husband.
Nahin re. He is India right now and in India marriages don't need to be registered. So the fact that he
a) Accepted that he married an Ayesha from Hyderabad
b) Signed a letter [registered or otherwise]
is sufficient evidence for her to pwn his sorry arse.
Shoaib [NOT Ayesha] has to prove that he was NOT cruel to her. Shoaib is guilty until proven otherwise, as per Indian law.

If he accepts that she is his wife NOW, she can sue him for mental harrassment...
