The point still stands. Thermal power plant/Wind power plant = more livelihood lost, environmental damage, vvillages asked to migrate
Nuclear Powerplant = A single community loses livelihood but given sufficient renumeration and relocation
No powerplant = people like you are happy while the...
you still haven't answered my question. Do you honestly believe a mega thermal power plant (we would actually require atleast 3 Mega or 7 regular thermal power plants to generate the equivalent MW of electricity which would again relocate villages, divert rivers and also destroy marine life due...
I suppose a mega thermal power plant or acres of land acquired for wind power (both of which would have vllages migrate) would help!

Germany is connected to the Euro grid which draws a lot of its power...
It's amazing how easily pollution spewing, river diverting, thermal power plants that don't just capture land they are commissioned on but also ruin the area for kilometers around them get approved without protests, while Nuclear power plants that are state of the art and environmentally safe...
Who is AANA HAZARY? Why is she going on a hunger strike on an MMRCA when there are perfectly good pothole filled roads available? Are you saying ahahahaha as in a praising tone?
Beyond these queries I could get nothing out of your post.
Neither..the bids will be opened today..it will take 15 days to figure out the entire pricing (airplane cost, weapons cost, upgrade cost). Then a couple of months of bargaining..and then the result.
Just as an addition to your post. I think the future upgrade package, ToT and the future development co-operation will be taken into consideration in addition to the price. I wouldn't be surprised if the lowest bidder does not win the contract.
So..what you are saying is...don't check our goods...just import them at face value???!!!
Newsflash..if you think Indian system is stringent, do not even try to export to..umm..anywhere else in the world...seriously!
Pirates don't pick and choose who they hold at ransom. They take what they can capture. And frankly dealing with pirates/terrorists is the worst way to resolve a problem. There is barely any centralized leadership there.
A permanent solution would not be an arrangement with them. It's either...
I would read more into this statement.
Russian officials had maintained until last year that Russia was looking at establishing a reprocessing plant in India, but the fresh emphasis on building it there suggests that Moscow is wary of NSG guidelines.
India is getting the nuclear material one...
Quite frankly I would have expected a UN security council to vote for a military intervention in Somalia. Ever wonder where all the arms come from and where all the money that is gained by ransom goes to? That money is surely not going back to Somalia or to buy them advanced weapons/ships!
Are you kidding me. A large part of our exports use this route...not to mention the thousands of Indian seamen working on various merchant ships along this route. It's not only the bread and butter for our export oriented units that we should be concerned about, it also happens to be our backyard!
