Well there are three aspects to it: 1. Smaller areas with lesser population can be easily subjected to good governance. 2. Provincial autonomy is necessary whether there are 5 provinces or 500. 3. Everyone deserves to have an identity, whether its pathans or hazara or saraiki or mohajir...

Well son its 2.5 Million Pathans on this side of the border thats what is common in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Pathans also referred to as afghans too is the second largest ethnicity in Pakistan.

Lady Luck seems to be favoring Pakistan these days. ;)
