The world is a strange place isn't it? looking at those examples provided
1. China builds infrastructure in the disputed region of ***. The infrastructure is theirs but the land belongs to Pakistan (or least disputed by them). In a sense the dispute is between India and Pakistan and any...
That's one thing about Malaysia & Singapore people from different races blend in well together, you often see in the smaller towns Indians, Malays and Chinese chit chatting in coffee shops.
Mostly whining about the government ;)
Mate, I don't think the aircraft are on the carrier. It looks like they are on a single storey building which is next to or close to the carrier. The pictures do not lend enough detail to say if they are different but they do have the same hazy quality about them.
Justin Joseph just likes to look for one sided articles created by bigots to fan the fire, notice how he bold's the inflammatory bits that suits his cause. Complete waste of space.
I might have missed the point, so its a demonstration for the sake of it and the there is no actual HUD system in development for the army? Because the HUD & Rifle/camera system in the picture does not look purpose built but put together using off the shelf components.
If you look at the pictures I think the first 3 were taken from one side of the aircraft (which a plane is parked on top) and the last one is taken from the other side. Anyway its just providing an update on the developments so nothing to get worked up over.
Cardsharp is just pointing out that the article is written is a deceptive form to give the readers that India has taken over the project from China during the phase 2 of the development which is not the case.
In no way anyone is saying that India is not involved in other projects in the...
IMO the rifle looks something more suitable for Close Quarter Combat so I am not too sure if its meant to replace the INSAS assault rifle.
What round does it use because the clip looks too short to accommodate standard 5.56 or 7.76 mm rounds.
Agreed, not saying the rifle is bad but there seems to be a number of reports to suggest that its not optimal for use in some conditions.
Sometimes its better to recognize if a product is viable or not and taking correct steps to rectify, otherwise you end up with a huge inventory of it and...
I'm not too sure about that, typically export models should be of a higher grade otherwise no one would buy them, there is no shortage of arms out there and its a buyers market.
at most any mods would be a bolt on the existing model/design. Retooling the machinery, processing methodology...
We had high hopes when a high speed rail was proposed between KL and Singapore but that was dashed because the Msia government pulled the carpet from under the project. (Singapore is the Malaysian government's whipping boy). Maybe if China backs it up the project will see the light of day...
Wow thats a really thorough analysis, I can see some issues with ergonomics when using in the jungle terrain. I personally would have gripes with the carrying handle and the fire selection lever.
Thanks for putting this together CardSharp
I traveled that route and I must say Railway investment in SEA is very poor, in fact its probably one of the worst railways I've been on and I've been on loads.
But Bangkok needs to clean up it political arena first, no one will invest in a country that constantly has coups, riots and what not.
I think we're getting sucked into a silly argument no thanks to some of the baseless comments by Smileplz. I suggest the more mature members of the forum to take comments of the newbies with a pinch of salt. Especially if you know them to be ridiculously silly.
It all goes around in a circle doesn't it? The money the government gives them come is part of a parcel of debt which is or was sold off as a bond to some foreign government.
Ultimately the US government should still do a better job of restructuring its debt, the fact that the US dollar is...
