Cent percent right. Around 90% GSBs have their kuladevata in Goa, rest of them have their kuladevata in North kanara and south kanara districts especially in Ankola Avarsa, Moolki, Shirali Bhatkal etc...
I had hward abt pikslara bhashe long ago from my friend however, it's still kannada with some twist as per him,

One of my close friend is a havyKA BRHAMIN, it's an another dialect of kannada. And yes, even though there are many scholars in havyakka community, there's no extensive research as of now., perhaps, you might want to write a wiki article about it :)
