To balance out India in longer run, at the end they knows India is with them as far it has its interests in UAE. Once India will become bigger fish it will eat them too. Hindu vs Muslims will always come into play... slow and steady Hindus will show their true colour in UAE too.

I think economically UAE interest lies with India, but in longer run and strategically they have to be with Pakistan. With time they can not handover greater influence to Indians, they will balance it out with Pakistan. though @Khafee can provide better details. At the end interests matter more.
