    I don't think it's the best 5th gen plane in the world. It will be more close to J-20 and prolly won't achieve the level of F-22 Raptor. But the point here is that should India pay $6 billion for R&D and another $30 billion for manufacturing. I don't think so.

    Maybe India does have what it takes to build an air superiority fighter. We can prolly copy and buy the technologies that we don't have. Maybe it is possible. But it will take atleast 10-15 years to do so. Does IAF have time?? I don't think so.
