It is not...all these rankings can be manipulated and are manipulated. Ever wonder why two rankings by two different organizations are not the same? You cannot even ever think of competing with graduates from IITs. So only thing you can do is laugh.

That is true...most of these ranking can be manipulated. The ranking are based on weights on certain measures. As it is hard to quantify the quality, the measures are based on dubious measures that can be quantified but no way of measuring their quality.

It is much easier to get into MIT than to IIT IIT is equal to Harvard Princeton and MIT universties put together.
