I don't think so.........China has far older Destroyers than the 052C that will be disposed of first. Remember the last 4 052C'S are new ships, with the last 1 or 2 being commissioned after the first 052D. They are even at present top notch warships, and i doubt very much they will see major...

Sorry, not trying to be funny.........BUT where is the proof that 003 is under construction?...........where is the text from Chinese sources, actually referring to 003?........and pictures of buildings, and of cartoon stick men is not the same as actually seeing modules of a vessel.............:(

Just to clarify, am I right in assuming that some module assembly work, has begun on 003 inside one of the large sheds, and once the 055 Cruiser, and the other ship to the side of it, have had their work finished in the dry dock, then when they move out, then the 003 construction will be moved...

Looking at the latest images..........it appears the 055 program is being given priority, in terms of effort in getting the vessels built. A bit like when the first 052D was outfitted very quickly, and actually joined the Chinese Navy, before the last two 052C's. Also by building more than one...

Yes, we all know that?.....:-)..............its just that people have been saying the 075 has been under construction for a few years now, but with no evidence to prove it?

Exactly.....i have mentioned this a few times in the past..........of course its great to see these photos, but they are meaningless to most people, if there is not some accompanying text to explain the images. Then we get several posts afterwards of members here asking what they are all about...

Hopefully soon, as i've noticed there have been no new ships added in the construction list for the 054A. Its still at 30 vessels.........and according to Chinese Wiki........the 27th ship in class joined service in April of this year. Is there any confirmation of this from anywhere else?

A question for members here.....as has been stated the newer 052D's will have an extended flight deck, and maybe some other improvements, but from what boat number in the class are these improvements being made to?...........and i presume that these vessels will still be called the 052D and not...

If true, it is strange as it really doesn't mean anything, as we all know and can see what warships and how many the Chinese are building. All it does is just delay people like us and anyone else interested in naval matters, as to when a particular ship gets commissioned into the fleet!
