Whilst being happy with the reveals of the AAMs, new Altay and Aselsan's EIRS, I'm quite disapointed that Atmaca / Akya is not there. Also has anybody been to Aselsan's stand to check AKKOR progress? @Stimpy75 Was you able to ask any questions regarding AKKOR? Emegine saglik in advance.
I was assuming that the extra control surfaces would negate the lack of TVR in the python and the additional drag caused by these surfaces would be negligible as I think I read somewhere that the missile can travel at speeds of Mach 4+.

Yea i had the same thought as well with the 150mm . Also, afaik even if we did do a gunship conversion it would be on the CN-235 rather then the C-130s.
@xxxKULxxx - Depends on the engine its using which I don't think has been officially confirmed yet. The Kongsberg NSM is using the French TRI-40 which gives it an 180km+ range. We're currently using the Microturbo engines in the SOM missile so it wouldn't surprise me if we went down the same...
Very pleased by the way the Altay is shaping up. Looks like they've significantly lowered the turret profile and the armour blocks look more more angled. Would give more protection when facing ATGMs.
