That is some nice footage there. Though I do have some technical niggles :D
The videos have been shot either with DSLRs or Camcorders like the NEX. Which is understandable since their size and form-factor are suited for journalistic use. But the 'juddering' visuals don't look very nice. Better...
Is Paksitan a pariah; though it is undoubtedly a Bonsai State.
Now @Oscar, the Cold War poers oscillated between those policies; because they were both Bonsai States in terms of handling Nuclear Capabilities....... nothing to do with democracy and all that. Therefore they were Bonsai States...
Quite a loony piece of writing by Messrs.Zahid and Ehtesham. Are they sufficiently intellectually challenged to understand that a FU policy is pursued by Strategic and Military Pygymies!
China has a NFU policy; while North Korea has a FU policy. One is a Power State while the other is a Pariah...
No idea about this prototype.
The FLIR on a Navalised version will not be below the hull/fuselage. And the IN has been looking for Folding Rotors and inflatable flotation gear in the wheel sponsons; not any pontoon-equipped version. The flotation gear is intended just to extend the flotation...
No Brahmos outfits for these ships. CIWS is by Barak 1 and AK-630 combo.
These ships are declared as Corvettes, in spite of their displacement; based on their tasking. The larger displacement hulls allow for better sea-keeping as well as greater endurance. They will never operate independently...
No problems , amigio. I wrote about the Pulsar; based on what I'd heard from some youngsters who owned Pulsars and then disposed them off to buy Yamahas and one of them even bought a Hero. I've never used a Pulsar, the last bike I'd owned was the Yamaha RD350 and then Jawas/Yezdis before that...
More like a D1ck than a Stick. But seriously speaking; this is a camera mounted to monitor the anchor cable or moorings when the ship is at anchor or moored to a buoy. can also be used to monitor other things.
As for the Rafales; look at 72 as the minimum cut-off numbers. That can rise further depending on sorting out manufacture of the birds in India as well as the direction that 5th Gen aircraft acquisition program will take.
Not at all. It just seems to be a very "Stealthy Deal" for a "Stealth Aircraft". The Aircraft will get bought/sold. How else can the money be raised to buy Su-35s for the PAF?
But F-35s are a 'no-no' for the PAF, write them off as fanboy fantasies.
What are you talking about? What has IFF got to do with it? IN can install its own IFF transponders (as it has done in the P-8Is) but that will not turn them into Recon aircraft. A Search Radar will, which it already has. Now what else do you want to install in these aircraft- AShMs and depth...
Nothing unusual about that at all. Guys like the JEM, LET, JUD etc do have ties to the PMLN. But just as they are connected to Raiwind they also have a connect to Rawalpindi.
What is new or unusual in all this @Imran Khan? This Bhawalpur Mulla or Lal Masjid Mulla or Mulla Diesel, Mulla Radio or Muridke Mulla are now Paksitani Heroes; they will decide the future of the Country.
Mr.Jinnah is gone and forgotten; and reduced to a picture that hangs on walls and is...
Nukes, Nukes, Nukes....... that is a never-ending refrain from a certain part of the world!
As if Nukes are the "end all and be-all" of all methods of warfare, totally dumbass...
As they are, the Us-2 Amphibs are not weapon platforms; neither does the IN look upon them as such. Primarily they perform SAR and Logistic tasks with a secondary MPA role.
Is'nt that what I have written in my post? Most of them will operate from Mainland Peninsular India.
