Map of how many people pray daily in countries around the world

It seems like the more developed areas of the world are less likely to pray. And the less developed and more unstable parts of the world (Africa and the Middle East) pray the most.

Iran unveiled indigenous "kowsar" fighter jet with 4th gen avionics

Of course. Iran has always been extremely wary of Russia and China. The truth is that the Gulf Arabs are much more enthusiastic about Chinese investments/products/weapons, which means the Sino-Iranian relationship will never have much depth beyond Iran's need to sell oil and China's need to...

Iran unveiled indigenous "kowsar" fighter jet with 4th gen avionics

What benefits did Iran get from the last deal with the USA after they poured concrete in their reactors and sent their enriched uranium overseas? Whatever deals and promises the USA makes, they won't follow it.

China hits Canada hard and Trudeau stays silent

That's what you said about Myanmar as well. And lo and behold... Bangladesh is still crying and the Rohingya are still in Bangladesh.

EU to shield its companies in Cuba via WTO, blocking U.S. sanctions: statement

Interesting how the EU said no to the USA, the UK said no to the USA, even Turkey said no to the USA. But India, South Korea and Japan seem to be the ones always falling in line whenever the USA issues a command, all of these have decided to cut their Iranian oil imports to zero. I really hope...

State Department official has a really racist take on U.S.-China relations

Anyone who says that race is not a factor at all in the American attitude towards China is lying to themselves. If it was Australia or Switzerland in the same position as China right now it would be a completely different situation. Ironically, America itself will soon become majority...

China has an advantage over the US Navy that could mean a 'decisive' defeat for US warships in a fig

China seized the Scarborough Shoal from the Philippines in 2012, despite the Philippines having a mutual defence treaty with the USA and being one of their closest allies and even an ex-colony of theirs. Why do you think Duterte came to power after that? They realized the USA wasn't going to...

How Bangladesh makes careful use of China’s BRI money

Does BD run an annual Current Account Surplus or Deficit?

All this China bashing is an outgrowth of an insecure US

This is the fundamental issue. A Current Account Deficit has little to do with trade policy, and everything to do with domestic economic policy. Current Account = Domestic Savings - Domestic Investment But Politicians love to SPEND SPEND SPEND. Which boosts economic growth, employment numbers...

How Do The Chinese Feel About Pakistan?

Just because I'm an Atheist/Agnostic... doesn't mean I can't have friends who are religious. One of my closest friends is actually quite religious, we just don't talk about it very much. And when we do talk about it, there is never any hostility, just curiosity about the other's belief system or...

    Iran's hyperinflation numbers skyrocketing

From my perspective, the US is far more of a danger to the world than Iran is. How many countries has Iran invaded over the past few decades? As for the Iran nuclear deal, the rest of the world is supporting it for a reason. Only America and Israel seem to be against it, why is that? With the...

BREAKING NEWS: May sacks Defence Secretary over Huawei leak!

Gavin Williamson sold out his country and his people to the USA, and tried to hurt Britain's ability to make their own sovereign decisions.

Huawei’s phone sales are ballooning while Apple and Samsung’s slump

Why do they use CDMA instead of the globally accepted standard which is GSM?

    Iran's hyperinflation numbers skyrocketing

The US sanctions are causing the Iranian people to starve, not the leaders. The leaders are eating just fine. What are nukes worth? Nukes are the ultimate deterrence against foreign invasion. What would it take for the US or Israel to give up their nukes? Under the Obama deal, the US would...

U.S. military stops tracking key metric on Afghan war as situation deteriorates

Just like Apple is no longer releasing their sales figures. Guess why? :partay:

    Iran's hyperinflation numbers skyrocketing

I didn't claim the exact same thing would happen with Iran, there are obviously geostrategic differences between the two. And obviously China and Russia are nuclear powers yet we are still under US sanctions. Nukes are one of the best methods of deterrence, that is simply a fact. Iran dropped...

India removes Maulana Masood Azhar’s name from Pulwama attack case

There is no reason why anyone from Pakistan would respond to my post like that. As if I had hurt him personally.

India removes Maulana Masood Azhar’s name from Pulwama attack case

Sorry if the facts upset you, but your country India has been playing the victims of the Pulwama attack as political bargaining chips since the beginning. Modi's entire re-election campaign was based on the politicization of bloodshed, even falsely claiming they shot an F-16 out of the sky...

Huawei’s phone sales are ballooning while Apple and Samsung’s slump

I agree, the user interface on Huawei's EMUI is a weak point. It took me a while to get used to it, and I still don't think the settings menu is intuitive at all. But I wouldn't say it is bad overall, just that it needs to go further to compete with the others.

India removes Maulana Masood Azhar’s name from Pulwama attack case

If India is willing to compromise on their basic principles, then they will compromise on anything.
