I highly doubt that PAF will precure something new as BVRAAM for aeging mirages, no doubt they ll stay for another couple of years but there is a big ???, while the platform like JF-17 is being inducted. These could have been another rumours some what similar to AIM-7 sparrow, or perhaps...
