‘Pained’ to learn that Manmohan did not vote: Modi

That is the reason I can never get myself to vote for Congress. But at least they put up a pretense and they had the sense (rather late and insulting to Sikhs as it was a Sikh apologizing to Sikhs) to apologize. Not like Modi and his party that never owns up for Gujrat. And not to talk about...

Sarkozy will not ban Sikh turbans in France

If Sarkozy has a little understanding and reverence for history, he will not ban the turban. After all his countrymen, during the great wars didnt have any problems with the turbans when Sikhs in the British Army fought and died protecting them.

‘Pained’ to learn that Manmohan did not vote: Modi

BJP aint less corrupt than the Congress. Given a chance to rule for the same duration as Congress, they would have had a similar number of scams. Better a family-run party than a proletarian right-wing communal party.

Same style of turban, yes. The one in my avatar is from the work of a Canadian Sikh dude who paints. He probably based it off his imagination.

Not again. Please read my reply to Shuntmaster. And the Hind in Hind ki Chadar is a reference to Hindustan and not Hindus.

Please dont spread those false notions and dont go by pop culture logic. The 5 symbols arent directed against any particular community or religion. Sikhism was never against any religion even though a majority of the battles were fought against the Mughals and Afghans, who just happened to be...

Just two guys? Is that it? And if I remember correctly, the traffic cop was shunted out of his job within months.

Hope your countrymen here understand that as well. Most of them think Sikhs are suffering in India and cant wait to run to Pakistan.

Good on the guy that at least he isn't bad-mouthing the country he's living in. We have had our troubles with the Centre, but most of the Sikhs in India wouldn't exchange it with living in Pakistan.

    Sikh Pilgrims arrive in Pakistan

I am not blaming you. Its obviously the fault of the photographer/editor/ news agency. Those women are definitely dressed like tribals/Rajasthani women. Especially the jewellery. Sikh/Punjabi women dont dress like that. Anyways, not a big deal. Thanks for the pics again!
