not much just few thousand rs.. which people who are running NGO can easily arrange for them
loan which was not payed back or loan on which people defaulted
such small loans for poors will not wwork.. we have a scheme called PMRGP here in India which allow people to take loan upto 25 lac to start their business with out any guarantee... and the NPA in this scheme is near to 80 %
food is costly here too and that's why I suggest this idea.... another dimension can be added in my previous idea.
the people of rural area and sub urban area.. with small land... can dig a pond in it... and sell the soil to get some money to start business.. now after filling the pond and...
take example of ASHA project or Aganwadi project... they had helped people.. but due to our disgusting reporting system its hard to know the real time data and all data at any time
there are always people who take advantage.. when we calculate a project or its success we wight those who got benefited and those who cheated and if benefited are more.. then its a success... and same is with population control... this decade was first when we had seen a reduced growth...
ok another idea is about using rivers.. we have a lot of rivers and ponds in Indian subcontinent... which can be used for fish production on small level and also for production of some water plants.... which have demands in auyurvadic(herbal) medicines and others which can be used as medicine...
aisa nhi hai.. hota hai.. south india ka 2011 ka census check karo.. the had reached on 2.1 and even few states are going down then it... this way takes time but the result are good and long
I am against all that is definite and set terms and rules.. let people decide how many child they can afford... increase the awareness in people but don't force anything.
ok let me give an example.. you would have heard about MNREGA and mid day meal projects in India to help poor, and let them earn, some other projects are AGANVADI and ASHA projects.. in which government spent more the 1 lac caror rs. per year.. but still none of them are success as the people...
no this is not about you or a indian... I am telling that people who do such work like leaving the high paying job or finding extra time to help poor its great work.. you do it or any other human.. its great but not enough... it can help poor to linger on.. but can't remove poverty.
your thread...
true they can't earn right away... and for this we have a lot of programs only problem is they got executed by those who had never seen hunger... let the poor hold the spoon that feeds poor.. and hunger will reduce. the public distribution system if ran by poor has eliminated atleast hunger from...
I have a idea... government is providing a lot of housing and education support to poors.. which can be used to reduce the poverty.. right now we let any worker work their and build the house... so he is not concerned about its quality and then we give it away to another poor who had not earned...
basically all these ideas are about helping poor... but reducing poverty is a different work field.. and this ca only be reduced by training the poor in required skills and creating an environment where they can use it.. another important thing is increasing awareness in them.. skilled...
