Our soldiers have always trained to clear rooms with live fire, following initial training.
CQB is a vast topic, and IMO, airsoft can make teams complacent and develop bad habits.
Basics can't be taught without the real thing, and I'm not talking about recoil or the sound.
Even the higher quality airsoft guns are fragile.
Remember, skills not learned under stress cannot be repeated under stress.

Quite often, students are not guided by trained personnel on how to react and what to expect in such events. Quite sadly, it's usually an inexperienced burger teacher that fills them up with clichéd nonsense and does them a disservice. Some schools just tell students to hide beneath a desk/ lock...
The team could've been killed within the opening minutes of the rescue.
It seems they're confusing clearance and hostage rescue as well.
You can't see any rolling-T or serpentine technique in the hallways.
And a myriad of other mistakes.
