The first video that the IAF has released, showing the LCH in IAF colors, operated from an IAF base by IAF pilots. The LCH will bring a massive increase in the IAF and IA's gunship capability at a very affordable cost, versus the ultra expensive Apaches.
Hopefully they'll be networked to work...

The first LCH squadron will be inducted into the IAF with 10 LCH gunships. These will be based out of Jodhpur in Rajasthan.

IAF operations from Sulur AFS in Coimbatore, TN, where the 2 Tejas Mk1 squadrons (No.45 Squadron 'Flying Daggers' and No.18 'Flying Bullets' ) are based.
Superior platform or not - I'll leave that to the FAA to figure out after they do a deeper analysis of the Tejas Mk1A as they are going to do by November 2022. On forums such as these, the bias is too strong to bother to dispel.

The primary issues relate to the Martin Baker ejection seat, Cobham refueling probe and the Cobham sourced quartz radome. Of these, the Cobham refueling probe and quartz radomes were anyway supposed to be replaced with indigenous options for the Tejas Mk1A sometime half way during production...
No images with the Hammer as yet. AFAIK, the integration is in progress and no test drops have been conducted yet.
