    Superior platform or not - I'll leave that to the FAA to figure out after they do a deeper analysis of the Tejas Mk1A as they are going to do by November 2022. On forums such as these, the bias is too strong to bother to dispel. India has already had FAA officials visiting HAL facilities once...

    The primary issues relate to the Martin Baker ejection seat, Cobham refueling probe and the Cobham sourced quartz radome. Of these, the Cobham refueling probe and quartz radomes were anyway supposed to be replaced with indigenous options for the Tejas Mk1A sometime half way during production...

    No images with the Hammer as yet. AFAIK, the integration is in progress and no test drops have been conducted yet. Astra Mk1 BVRAAM integration on a Tejas Mk1 can be seen in the image below. No carriage, drop or flight trials pictures as yet. Not sure if they've been conducted or not either...
