I still believe that this HLFT-42 design needs improvements. What he said confirms that the design is not frozen but they kind of know that the configuration will look like this.
Basically we'll see a much more refined design if this concept goes forward.
But it is good to hear from HVT...
I always have said this-
These internet forums or social media don't mean much, with the amount of propaganda that goes on here. What matters is what is happening on the ground.
On PDF, Pakistanis and their coterie love to mock India while being absolutely unaware of the ground realities in...
Tejas Mk1 FOC with Astra BVRAAM and DRDO ASPJ. Both are absolutely vital to have the Tejas Mk1 be an effective fighter in the kind of threat environment the IAF faces.

he's talking about the IMRH. As a moderator I expect you to have more respect for posters who aren't using hateful language which is the most common thing on this forum.
How come you never ever take a stand against vicious religious based...
Tejas Mk2 in a new digital camouflage. The model is from Def Expo 2022, which indicates that there were no new changes since then. Tejas Mk2 is now under prototype fabrication stage after having the CCS sanction funds for it's development.

Lockheed Martin is looking closely at the possible release of the MRFA RFP to decide what to do. The content of the RFP will probably decide which fighter they could offer, just as Boeing is very likely to offer the...
PM Modi was there to inaugurate Aero India and his entire focus is on self reliance in defence. the CAS is surely well aware of that and consequently was on that Tejas trainer. Otherwise his support for indigenisation has been luke warm at best.
I'm pretty sure that the liquid fuel ramjet...
This is why I caution people not to look too deep into the HLFT-42 design as yet..it is still a very early concept design based on the HF-24 Marut, whose aerodynamics were considered superb.
Here is the latest HAL IMRH helicopter model. Much improved, way more refined as compared to the IMRH...

The 10 AAM part is purely to highlight that it's got the payload and that it is going to be a supersonic platform, able to perform a light medium fighter...

NAL is simply not a laboratory set up for getting a project this important developed and tested all by themselves. Without HAL being there to do the heavy lifting, Saras Mk2 will take ages to be prototyped and flight tested.
Sadly HAL has it's Hindustan Do-228 that it's happy with for the time...

There has neither been any interest expressed in the F-35 by the IAF nor has it been officially offered.
