The initial variant of the Hurjet will be a trainer only right? Assuming that is perfected 5 years from now, and enters service, it will take at least 4-5 years to develop a fighter variant of that. That would mean ~2033 or so.
Even Boeing estimates that much time will be taken for a light...
That is what corrosive sea water does to submarines that have been on long deployments. It is nothing new and doesn't mean they are "rust buckets". PR images that show them in pristine condition are just for that- PR.
Question is- will they first resurrect earlier number plated squadrons or choose to simply replace the No.3 'Cobras' or No.23 'Panthers' Bisons with the Tejas Mk1A without number plating them.
One can't be sure. No.101 'Falcons' were resurrected with Rafales instead of choosing an existing...
Possibly because they have been given access to the real data with real pilots having flown them, whereas internet trolls and posters either don't or bring their own biases to bear on their impression of the fighter?
It's not for anything that the IAF will fly 220 Tejas fighters.
The TEDBF CGI art is really off. The nose is actually much bigger and the canopy more proportionately small. Plus the landing gear on the real TEDBF is TALL..not like the one in the CGI.
Feasibility studies were completed. Al Tariq SR and LR PGMs will be integrated by September 2024. They'll be using both Mk 80 series dumb bombs as well as India's own High Speed Low Drag (HSLD) dumb bombs for the Al Tariq SR and LR PGMs.
It'll be flying way before that. But both the AMCA and the TEDBF are yet to receive CCS clearance to release funds, without which no prototype can be built.
But AMCA has cleared Critical Design Reviews for all systems by now. Matter of time before the CCS clears the funding.
There have been plenty of lessons learnt from the Tejas development and flight testing. One of the biggest gains will be in flight testing where they now know which test points they absolutely must test and which ones can be avoided. Will reduce flight testing effort greatly.
There will also be...
And shockingly not a single crash or accident despite all that huh?
Please, I've been on the assembly floor of Boeing hundreds of times and trust me, it can get dirty as well. More organized perhaps but the sanitized, clean as heck PR pics that emerge for wowing audiences are just that- PR...
West Pakistanis killed over 3 million Bengalis within no time. One of the worst genocides perpetrated on people after WW2. And they didn't stop there. Pakistanis have been continuing their ethnic cleansing on Balochis as well.
They act like riots between Hindus and Muslims happened for the...

When did Pakistan grant MFN status to India for trade? - NEVER
Finally, after the Pulwama bombing in 2019, India withdrew MFN status from Pakistan. A full 13 years when India had granted MFN status to Pakistan and Pakistan did not...
