Russia has denied media reports that it is close to selling Su-35S fighters to China

The Su-35 purchase really makes no sense. It is simply an outdated aircraft that won't even deliver for years. Russia should just join China on the J-31 development for a medium stealth fighter to replace the Mig-29s. The J-31 is sized ideally for aircraft carriers and can fulfill different...

Russia has denied media reports that it is close to selling Su-35S fighters to China

Nice try, except Ukraine never had a Su-33. Ukraine sold the preliminary design and the non functional prototype of the T-10 to China, based on which the J-15 was developed.

The last time China got into a fight with Vietnam,it was a Disaster

The talk of war is down right stupid. Unless Vietnam fires the first shot, there will be no war. China is steadily solidifying its maritime claim with bigger and better ships, and Vietnam simply can't match that.

    What's Modi's First Destination?

Modi seems like very bold, but practical leader to me. I am all for building a strong tie with India. The biggest problem with the previous Indian government has always been its confusing policies and inaction. Singh was simply too weak to reign in on his own party. With Modi I see a much...

PLA may upgrade radar of its Su-30 MKK to match Su-30 MKI of India

This makes little sense. The Chinese Su-30MKKs belong to the navy and are stationed in mostly in South China sea for anti-ship missions. The Indian MKIs are air superiority fighters. Why would China upgrade the MKK radar to counter the MKIs which are thousands of miles away with completely...

Man throws acid on girl for refusing to marry him in Pakistan

Well, make small arms available for purchase to girls that's what I mean. A guy will not dare mess with girls if there is a possibility of him getting a bullet in the face.

India: The global arms bazaar’s anchor buyer

Didn't Qatar just buy like 23 billion dollars worth of arms? That has far surpassed the MMRCA deal which has been dragging on for years. By the way I posted a thread YEARS ago saying that the MMRCA deal was unlikely to happen because of India's money problem, and I was attacked by many Indian...

Indian Navy refuses Chinese navy chief’s request

Part of the article is not true. China has shown the US Naval commanders the CIC room of ships. It helps understand the operation protocol of other navies and reduce miscalculation.

Why do Indians get more top US jobs than the Chinese?

This comparison is a non starter. You can't use individual numbers to negate a statistic find. The CEO of Lenovo earns over 10 million USD a year, but Lenovo is not representative of all Chinese firms. I am sure the CEO of Infosys is well paid, but we are talking about the average here.

Did IAF’s 'US-made' C-130J Super Hercules that crashed have fake Chinese parts?

Well I guess other C-130Js that have been flying fine must have no crappy Chinese part. Only one Chinese part was used in the entire C-130J production, and that one piece caused this specific crash. :( I mean, it has to true, right?

    C-130J crashes in Gwalior

Well, even munitions don't just explode unless there is a fire. I hope no one was smoking on board???

    C-130J crashes in Gwalior

You don't need to carry munitions to explode. A fire caused by a short circuit could have ignited the fuel and cause explosion. The curious part is that the modernized C-130J has plenty of fail safe mechanisms to prevent that.

    Second batch of J-10B

First of all, the notion of a war with Japan is ridiculous. Secondly, if Russia refuses to provide engines, then the PLA will have to just retire all the old jets. It would be cheaper to manufacture new ones instead of modifying an old one.

    Second batch of J-10B

You can't just replace the engine type of an existing aircraft. You would have to modify the airframe and replace a lot of avionics because they have to match the engine. It would be cheaper just to buy more AL31FN to service the existing ones and use WS10A only on new ones.
