Both kills attributed to AMRAAMs by sir Kaiser.
There might be a possibility of using dual pylons on all jf17s
Engine is already ready with Chinese. PAF is evaluating it right now on jf17s in order to have exact life expectancy. You may expect them to replace existing ageing engines sooner than later as sending engines to russia for overhaul costs a lot.
There are no major internal changes. Yes, there is a new engine. Yes, it is under testing. Yes, it is specifically designed to replace jf17 existing engines as their life is about to end. More engines can not be procured from russia because of sanctions. So Pakistan is looking for a substitute...
There's a misconception about the supposed defence cut. ISPR stated that there wontw be any increment in the defence budget for next fiscal year and all the officers of armed forces will not get any pay raise for upcoming fiscal year. I don't see this impacting project Azm in any way.
Having being someone who has seen the Block 2 first aircraft getting assembled in the assembly line, i can assure you that Block III is not ready yet. And besides, there is absolutely no change in design what so ever. So please stop with this unnecessary hype.
I don't think WC Noman and SL Hassan are flying jf17s these days. They are still on f16s and that's the machine they were flying on 27th. (Hence the AIM120 piece found su30 in wreckage)
Ummm, no. Only Pakistan. We recently bought retired mirages from Argentina and used them as spares. We'll do the same with Egyptian mirages as well, i believe. I may be wrong but that appears to be the most likely case.
This is very unlikely to happen. There is no business case for buying only handfull of M2000. We have already invested so much in M-III & V. Buying M-III & V would only make sense. And I believe a deal has already been signed with Egypt in this regard.
