U misinterpreted my earlier post....what I was saying Pakistan does not require f16 for counterterrorism purposes only....it requires it for what other nations also require it for....

I think drones can accomplish the job....no need to use an advance jet for that purpose Because it is not getting the things it wants for the price Americans want....eg AIM-9x and other sophisticated equipment....

Everyone knows that even the most advanced jets cannot counterattack guerrilla warfare tactics otherwise America and Russia won't have failed in Afghanistan...that was their mistake...

One of the demands of America for providing f16s and aid from beginning is to limit the nuclear program....so if we have to pay the full price with limited capabilities we use the American way of negotiations...

if pak was so subservient to Us than US wouldn't need to stay in Afghanistan or the Dr whom America wants so badly to tie up there loose ends won't be in Pakistan's prison.....and Pakistan won't also be a nuclear possessing weapon country as America put a lot of pressure on Pakistan in 1990s...

What we need is better missile technology which can evade radar systems and can defeat all countermeasures and most importantly make the nukes reach the farthest part of the world...of course nukes are also essential to arm the missiles but only focusing on nukes not its delivery system is not...

U know bro...I was thinking the same thing, why would America care if we produce more nuclear weapons??Unfortunately if u haven't been reading news from1990's, the most pressure Pakistan is facing for nukes manufacturing is from America....America wants to protect its military assets and bases...

Nope but this platform is already inducted so it might be cheaper wrt j10b which has same capabilities as f16 blk52... Personally I think Pakistan should have had invested in j19 b Long before..,,

As far as j20 or other non exportable Defence assets of China are concerned, just wait till completion of CPEC...China will be forced to fight with Pakistan if any enemy engages pak, to protect its valuable assets in Pakistan on which it is spending billions....moreover for the same reason China...

J10b is off the desk for PAF as it,s induction costs are very high and j10 b does not give any new capabilities to the Air Force....

I think moving the project to Pakistan would not be a good idea probably due to lack of required infrastructure,personnel, and advanced jet engineering expertise....even if China were to train and establish such required infrastructure the costs would be so high that it would be enough to fund...
