    We are not importing GE engines. GE & Alstom will be setting plants in India to make diesel & electric engines. Going forward these will be exported to other countries too.

    Alstom is setting up a plant in India to make 12000 HP electric locomotive. Pakistan can buy these. Cheaper & better than Chinese maal. Plus we have the same guage so no need to change design. You can get this 6000 HP locomotive made by Indian Railways. Plus you can get these beautiful coaches.
