Man doesn't anyone else think that india is spending a little too much money on this. They could be using this money to help build up their cities and improve things like health cear and education.
And anyway aside from wanting to be a blue water force what other reason does India have to...
I have to disagree the JF-17 does not have a Avionics Dorsal Spine or the two big side drums to hold extra hardwear and softwear. Not to mention the F-16 has a much bigger bobble canopy.
I read that the Iranian military was going to make a few different veriants of this aircraft including a anti-ship and anti-sub veriant. here is a link.

F/A-22 has many advantages over its the F-117 for instance the F-22 has capabilities of the F/A-18 meaning that it can do air to air and with a flick of a switch it can do air to ground unlike the F-117 which like SU-47 is more bomber oriented.

I heard that the Sparda 2000 beat both Rythorn and SAAb in the competition to become Pakistans new air defence system so it has to be pritty inorder to do that
Heck Ya now this means that the JF-17 will be compatable with the Swedish EWR along with the F-16. This will diffentaly add to Pakistans defencive capabilities.:guns:
I thought Pakistan was going to develop the Al-khalid II not continue building the Al-khalid . I thought that the Al-Khalid was only suppose to reach the 600 marker.
If it wasn't a good aircraft why would a country like Egypt waist time on building 80 K-8s under license.
2nd is Pakistan getting the American engines because if they are they should differently get the latest ones being offered or something close.
