My wishlist brain section has just gone into overdrive with this news.
I would go for systems that have maximum commonality in avionics and engine components.
I don't have a gun locker or a gun for that matter but if I did:
1) Lee Enfield No. 4 Rifle chambered for 7.62mm
2) Browning Hi Power
3) Colt 9mm SMG based on the AR15 or Bizon-2-01
Both 2 and 3 chambered for 9x19mm Parabellum
Pakistan is going to have a credible deterrance ability soon with the induction of Turkish Patrol boats, Chinese Frigates, German submarines (not sure on this one) and American maritime patrol aircraft.
For a small navy thats alot of good kit coming in over the next few years giving a solid...

No the US/ISAF/NATO controls most of the cities whereas the Taliban are stronger in the countryside.

Chinese Fighters will be linked with Chinese AWACs and ex Ukrainian Air Tankers.
