Commonality of Artillary would be good but given the current inventory if it ain't broke don't fix it.
Alot of the equipment being used is tried tested and reliable.
Another thing to consider is that when India pursued a new SPH requirement they were looking to buy just the turrets and use them on modified T72 chassis.
I'm certain I've seen a French GCT AUF1 turret being used like that.
Pakistan apparantly has some Turkish T155 Panters so this could be the way forward as well as the version of South Koreas K9 the T155 Firtina.
Also there is the PLZ45 from China.
I quite like them all in their own way so I'll go for a top three
1) Agnostic Muslim for his fair and balance approach
2) Keysersoze for his uncanny ability to sort the wheat from the chaff
3) Blain2 for his excellent military knowledge
Considering the bickering and suggestions made in this forum I can see little difference in cooperation or unity being made those in either country's government.
Consider it this way guys if some nutters in a cave could plot and attack the worlds only superpower (9/11) then an operation of this type cannot be discounted in any country.
Given the limits of any countries security apparatus someone will always slip the net.
Thats why mobility is a key issue for these vehicles but it could be possible. The Insurgents only have to get lucky once.
Also armour is distributed to where the most likely threat is a good example being an MBT. If the front, top, belly, side and rear armour all weighed the same they would...
Super Falcon Mi17 is a utility helicopter and Mi35 is a gunship with troop transport capability.
Pakistan now has 80+ Mi17s and I don't think the Mi35 is the right aircraft to supplement them.
Super Falcon if you mean the Cougar MRAP here is the link to the force protection website:

Type in "Cougar Iraq" in google images where some pics show battle damged one in Iraq.
Also they are producing a Chinese version of the Krasnopol laser guided artillary round which would be a good asset for Pakistan given the fact that support for troops in FATA does involve lots of towed artillary.
