I know this is a nearly 2 year old post, but I did the math and it's 160-170 meters long depending on the helicopter length. So it's Khalije-Fars. Also on the topic if Khalije Fars, I saw a satellite picture of work starting on the rest of destroyer
How has everyone in this thread forgot the Almas/Almaz ATGM lol? It's a portable top attack fire and forget ATGM with a 6-8km range. It's immune to Trophy APS too. There's also Saeghe, much cheaper and is still portable. But you loose out on the fire and forget top attack capabilities
There are a few Fateh and Besat submarines under construction
Shahid Nazeri has a 23mm Asefeh not a 20mm gun. Shahid Soleimani will definitely have Kamand or some 35mm CIWS. The Alvand class frigates are or have received Kamand, the repaired Konarak will have a Kamand it seems, the Sahand has...
Karrar tank with Iranian army instead of IRGC? Also they removed the electro optical jammers I think. I found this version on Twitter without the giant *** watermark
Iran has dedicated tank transporters. They won't be used for other purposes, and Iran has more than enough of them. Tanks would be driving across the country by themselves. You seem to think Karrar's turret is bad or something, but in reality it is extremely well protected and has great...
Iran uses trucks to transport all it's tanks across the country though, so it's not a problem at all. If I remember correctly, Zulfiqar also had an autoloader. Also autoloader completely reduces the stress of a gunner constantly reloading
Karrar on the other hand could be fitted to the...
Look again
Karrar was simply a better and more realistic project. Zulfiqar lacked commander's sights and a modern FCS. Karrar has better protection it seems, and would be multitudes cheaper because it uses T-72S hulls
1: There were 2 tanks the in the exercises, and we know dedicated Karrar production lines exist. We saw 6 on the production line back in 2017, and a few more in 2020.
2: Karrar has a 1000hp engine, but Iran produces a 1300hp one that can also be used.
3: It has an APS, but only against...
