For Indonesia, there is a trade off. Su35 vs sanctions. From an economic point of view Indonisia has a huge trade surplus with the us. On the other hand trade deficit with russia.

you know what's funny? in the 60s people said the Soviet union will beat the us in technology and space, the opposite happened. in the 90s they said Japan's economy will surpass the us and look what happened. Today the us is still #1 and yet stronger.
Chinese always been patient with their reactions but lately they are getting aggressive which tells you that the us policies toward China made a big dent
I think China will obey to us sanctions for the time being as they are negotiating a trade deal, China doesnt want to cause anymore problems.
The EU is against sanctions but dont have much power to override it. European companies wont risk their business with the us for iran.
