If USA decided to punish India for buying S-400, they will block supplying India with engines and that mean no more Tejas for your air force and all of them will be grounded for lack of spare parts. JF-17s don't have this kind of weakness which make them more appealing to other countries than...

I've been following JF-17 project since day one, what I know about Pakistan airforce is that they want to end up with a mix of blk2 & 3 only and they had plans to upgrade all of Jf-17 block 1 to block 2 and install LKF601E AESA radars to them. I'm from Kuwait.

are they upgrading them to block II standard two?

I hope Pakistan and turkey cooperate to develop a two seat fighter/bomber variant someday
