27 Feb 19: PAF shot down two Indian aircrafts inside Pakistani airspace: DG ISPR

You write well but garbage is just garbage no matter how well written it is. 1. Abhinandan has never claimed a kill. 2. Independant experts (not from Pakistan) have examined his aircraft remains and no missile was fired. 3. Abhinandan is on record saying that he was looking for PAF fighters...

27 Feb 19: PAF shot down two Indian aircrafts inside Pakistani airspace: DG ISPR

Please read my post again. Yes orders and objectives are clarified in briefings but there is something here that doesn't add up. I will say again that I believe in aerial warfare you need to detect and fire first - I am no expert but this is a no brainer. Asking for permission to protect the...

27 Feb 19: PAF shot down two Indian aircrafts inside Pakistani airspace: DG ISPR

A counter argument would be this: if so many aircraft were on CAP, why did they have to wait for permission from the ground to engage enemy fighters that were there for the sole reason to prevent them from succeeding in their mission? In these days of datalinks, the whole aerial picture is in...

    Pakistan F-16 Discussions 2

The PAF roundel on the F16 has a lot to do with the appeal too… . for me.

Pakistan Army's VT-4 Main Battle Tank | Updates & Discussions

I might be completely wrong here but recent criticism of India coming from the middle east and some possible cash flow assistance to Pakistan may be pointing towards something in the works to wrap up the Yemen chapter. Since Pak was not getting involved directly, something under the UN umbrella...

JF-17 Thunder Multirole Fighter [Thread 7]

Works both ways. MS paint is enough evidence for shooting down an F16? Why hasnt Abhinandan claimed it himself and why did he not speak and claim it during IAF's public get together with the media where foreign journalists were also invited. Bombs landed in your military garrisons and what did...

Ops Swift Retort - DCS Video

New re-creation with CAP flights on both sides as per info available. Tacview at the end is good to see. IAF assets overwhelmed in AI mode if PAF CAPs are not restrained as were in the actual Op.

Discussion: some technically acquired images of Indian Air bases Jodhpur.

PAF has been waiting since Feb 27th last year. These missiles sure take a long time.

Discussion: some technically acquired images of Indian Air bases Jodhpur.

Glide bombs can be programmed to hit a target from a certain angle in relation to the terrain like dropping down at 45 degrees etc. They can also be programmed to hit the target from a certain direction. They don't have to glide straight to the target. Shelter like these with no hardened...

27 Feb 19: PAF shot down two Indian aircrafts inside Pakistani airspace: DG ISPR

These guys will keep coming back with new theories. You will explain it to one and a few days later several more will appear without going through the previous discussion. Question ❔ they should answer is what they did in response to bombs landing in/ around their military garrisons; still...

JF-17 Thunder by Deka Ironwork for DCS

I think the JF 17 in DCS is under-powered for some reason. Even when flying with guns only you can still feel its engine should be doing more in turning fights. Not sure why this is in the game - just my opinion. yes i think there is a general bias against Russian and Chinese weaponry in...

    I didn't say they didn't cross LoC.

PAF and its Pilots Persistent Demoralising Impact on IAF

It was seen as a probable threat to the PAF strike package - likely it was vectored to the strike package and hence fired upon.

Pakistan Air Force | News & Discussions.

Detection & situational awareness is the name of the game. Without it, assets cannot be deployed. P8 does the same thing. A carrier group can actually be a liability depending on the situation.

JF-17 Thunder Multirole Fighter [Thread 7]

I wonder if the CEP is different - we didn't want any human casualties or collateral damage at all that day.

    Yes they are BVR capable.

JF-17 Thunder Multirole Fighter [Thread 7]

True. But launching missles from a 'dual rack' is different to bombs dropping. I would assume multiple factors will have to be looked into including clear launch, no damage to adjacent stores and pylons etc.

Self measures that needs to be taken - Coronavirus potential outbreak in Pakistan

Misinformation Lots of jumpy people out there. Waste of money I believe these and related beliefs re COVID19 are a form of cognitive bias - people tend to believe and propagate ideas that are easy and will preserve the status quo of their current lifestyle instead of following measures which...
