No. They did only ENT, Eye and basic ear, knee and flat foot checking in initial medical this time. Even DNS were declared fit for ISSB (you have to operate DNS after clearing your initial interview).

I checked with CMH today. LASIK will render you unfit for forces.

I do not know about other arms but Signals Branch of FC KPK is way better equipped and way better trained than that of Pakistan Army, largely because of the fact that FC has relatively a much larger budget than Army.

Here is what I think happened... It was probably a remote-controlled IED attack. Militants used high-tech equipment and the jammer on GOC's SUV failed to jam that particular "frequency". Can't be a booby-trapped IED otherwise patrol or convoy vehicles would've taken the hit.
