yeah i've been wondering the same thing. right now all the navy has is 12 aging mirage 5's. given the trend towards a large number of navy dedicated, navy operated aircraft, i wonder if some planes are headed the pn's way. edit: actually, they've got the p-3 orion too.

it has eight hardpoints right now, but that might change in future blocks. it can support either western or chinese weapon systems/avionics.

Has anyone heard of different variations of the JF-17? Considering that it's going to form the backbone of the Pakistan Air Force, could a strike/bomber/attack version be in the works? Mabye similar to the F-15 vs. F-15E?
