Bro, we bought these Mi-17 a long time ago (1995-1996) and don't forget, SSM is negociating with Sikorsky for more black hawks (100+ for us and more for export market). I think Mi-17 in our inventory is an accident during 90's :) As you said Mi-17 and Chinook aren't comparable.

Could we imagine after this modernization process that Aselsan could modernize a lot of MI-17 around the world ? What are the details of Mi-17 modernization ? (only avionic ?)
