No they use quite sophisticated weapons and IED's too. They have advantage of surprise in jungle warfare not to mention our paramilitaries are poorly trained and armed. I remember 2-3 yrs ago 75 CRPF men were lost their lives in Bastar in an ambush.

Paramilitaries launched an operation but they have been beaten back with horendous casualties over the past 4 years.
