Well not completely dummies ......this testing was not live missile fire test...this was to validate the missile iterface with a/c weapon management system along with other parameters checking .....such test are usually done before live firing...or before weapon certification....

Yup C919 may be an excelent platform but PN & PAF's love for Propeller aircaft due to their endurances n cost saving cannt be ignored ;)..... Y-8Q augmenting remaining P3Cs wud be a dream come true ...... Hope fully more specs of this plate form will start coming out now ..

I Pray the news of AESA is true (Presence of AESA will surely raise the bar to whole new level )... but in the Chienese designer presentation he showed upgrades such as IFR, addition of hard point etc...but he didnt said any thing abt AESA.....n mentioned PDR as primary type of radar on JFT ...

Yup that is exactly why data link is being upgraded in BII & ZDK-03 are brought in for.... also Presence of IFF system ensures "No Friendly Fires"
