well, i've already said this before. capitalism's achilles heels are labour markets (when labour supply is so high that they get paid subsistence or lower wages) and financial markets (where 1929 style mismanagement can derail the system in a massive way) outside of these 2 problems...

they've certainly used excessive force at times and there might be historical attrocities involved too. i agree. but what stops peace today is a mix of religion (position of jerusalem which can never be agreed upon) and hatred from the palestinians rooted in the past, a lot of it justifiable...
