    Dhaka-Ctg. elevated highway contemplated

Yea, as usual putting the cart before the horse. I never understand the BD business community, build factories in Dhaka, then transport the goods all the way to Chittagong! Reason, so the owners can have the factories closer to where they live Dhaka! There is an under-utilised port near Khulna...

    Dollar reserve shoots ast 21bn

The FE reserve of $21bn plus is just an accounting term. The GoB doesn't actually have that, it is held by the exporters and families, the only thing the GoB can do is encourage capital investment through, policies and incentives, it's up to the business comunity to judge how they use that. Dollar reserve shoots ast 21bn

It is, but the situation for the GOP is not the same. Pakistan is in the midst of fighting internal terror, the overspill of the fighting in Afghanistan, and protecting its borders with india. Bangladesh offers to train Lebanese Navy

Bad idea, it's not in our direct interest to get involved, and there is no way we can afford to pay for a campaign like this on our own. It's most likely the Iraq is going to divided into 3 pieces, Kurdish, Sunni and Shia and unless there is a full UN request we can't get involved.

Bangladesh offers to train Lebanese Navy

I am not talking about, working with Hez, but they and other militias are essentially part of the Lebanon security forces wether anyone like it or not. Anyone who works there have very little choice but to interact with them, and as far as I know BD does not consider Hez a terrorist org as yet.

Well Lebanese army officer have been trained in our academies, so it's normal for their naval staff to come here too. We need to send some of our own army officers to Lebanon and learn how they operate, learn from Hezbollah how the dealt with Israeli forces etc.

There are about a dozen major criminal dons/terrorists hiding in india, you can google them. Some of them have worked for RAW in the past, and are known to be receiving protection from them. They are wanted by BD, and it was expected they would be handed over, in return for our active search and...

Sorry gonna have to disagree, yes people of WB and Bangladesh speak a similar language, but culturally we are not the same. India can in no way be compared to China, we have many large scale projects, that need tens of billions, and india is in no position financially or technically to help...

India to press for rail, road transit

Actually it's much easier for China now that the BJP are in power in Delhi. The AL an Congress were bosom buddies, an dhaka felt close to them. With the BJP in charge there is a disconnect, an Hasina is looking to make friends again with China.

India to press for rail, road transit

Stop it, your sounding too sensible. Let's see if Adolf Modi can push these through now that he has an absolute majority? I still have my doubts, considering he's party completely objected to both deals.
