Thank you very much bro! :D Alhamdulillah, both are good. And nope, it's our first kid. I feel so lost! Still hasn't clicked in my mind. Haha! Thankfully half of Pakistan decided to come here and help us out.

Well thats it, that what i wanted to ask. Accommodation at deosai plains? Do we absolutely have to carry our sleeping bags and tents or can we find some tents there (or have to rent from Astore?)

Like at Fairy Meadows they have nice cottages and tents but what about Deosai? I heard there is no proper accommodation there and need to arrange our own. What would you suggest we should do?

Nothing at all. Construction isn't really allowed there since it's a protected national park. There were some guys trying to build a couple of hotels there but they were stopped, iirc. So yes bro, camping is the way to go and if you ask me you wouldn't want it any other way. You'll have to rent them before you reach there too, didn't see any rentals available when I went there last time.

Are you planning on driving straight to Astore? I'm guessing you aren't taking the Skardu rout or hitting Gilgit first? I ask because rental tents will be easier to find in Gilgit and Skardu than Astore.

Also, you should definitely hit Rattu as well. It's only a 3hr jeep ride from Astore. You could get a room at Rattu base in the Officer's Mess or book Maharajah Ranjit Singh's summer cottage (through the army) for a couple of nights. Rattu would be gorgeous this time of the year.
