I disagree with females disguising their genders, be it to prevent harassment or extra ‘attention’. By doing that not only do you warrant and accept the norm of a ’superior’ male population in terms of opinions and rights, but you’re also withdrawing a basic rightful entitlement, going back a few decades and making it difficult for the future oncoming female joiners who may not necessarily want to ‘hide’ themselves.

Misogynistic views should be challenged, on the contrary there may be areas of knowledge an individual lacks but a learning or knowledge gap shouldn’t be defined by gender but purely on interest.

Harassment is an issue and being a female I’ve encountered many incidents purely at the cost of perhaps an innocent photo or because my profile reads ‘female’ - Can someone kindly clarify where and how that gives an invitation for any guy to pass sexual comments or give abuse?

Fully aware of how Male dynamics function, if you can’t control your thought processes have the ability to control what you put forth on public display. Not even going to gender categorise this but if a female OR Male make it clear NOT to write on their wall - you do NOT write on their wall continuously and play victim. If you’re going to enter the Dragon’s cave, what are you expecting? Sushi?

Sexual harassment should not be normalised and especially under a regulated forum, you can fault a characteristic or a point but you need to stop pinning the female gender to the ground it is highly offensive and disrespectful.
