  • Thank you it finally looks like we have an understanding.

The events that occured in Nanjing in 1937 or the **** of Nanking as many people call it, is a painful memory for many Chinese. The official Chinese stats for the number of dead is 300,000 and even most Japanese scholars believe that at least 200,000 civilians/surrendered soldiers were killed.

The details of what occured is not something I'd like to discuss and indeed it is not for the faint of heart. We all know about the Nazi mass killing of Jews and the various human experiments that they performed. The atrocities committed by the Japanese during WWII exceeded Nazi tortures in creativity, if not in scale. There are many, many, disturbing images and stories that you can find on the subject and if you don't mind I will provide you the links.

Keep in mind that I have no grudge against the Japanese people today except the handful who refuse to acknowledge the wrongs committed by the Imperial Japanese Army.
