ive seen this thing before as well, on normal rehearsals of JS Parade, normally aircraft undertake such evasive actions in order to avoid incoming birds....to avoid a bird strike.....

it might seem that way from the angle of the pic...and it sometimes really is, but then there is little else to do in order to avoid a bird strike and a total loss.
