This is the third generation of H&k Rifle HK36(5.56MM) ahead of its time and german army chosed this to replace G-3 as standerd Rifle.its is cheap to produce+lighter then M-16,AUGAND SIG ,This should be the choce of pakistan army to replace G-3.
OK now that you all agree maybe you can tell me where the money would come from? To equip with that many rifles would cost half a billion $ or more just for the weapons.never mind the ammunition change over from 7.62 to 5.56 and the MG-3 will still use 7.62 so that would cause supply issues.
